Google Analytics is operated by Google LLC, which is based in the United States. When analytics cookies are accepted, anonymised usage data is transferred to and processed in the United States. This transfer is made in compliance with section 72 of POPIA, on the basis that Google participates in data protection frameworks providing an adequate level of protection. Essential and preference cookies are placed on the basis of our legitimate interest in providing a functioning website, and as necessary for the performance of the service you have requested — POPIA section 11(1)(b) and 11(1)(f).
